I have witnessed my bosses professionalism dwindle for the past three years to the point where it is more important to talk to family then help customers.

By then you have spent about the first 4 hours of your day just doing paperwork and walking, not even spending time to get the department ready for the customer. Then you might be able to get 5 hours in to help get things ready but then are you getting enough help to keep the department up. I've learned to write schedules but the system is difficult to use and there is no formal training given to do it properly.
